Vision
Our Father's Legacy is the vision of Carl and Liela Van Vliet. It was birthed during 26 years of pastoral ministry where God begin to reveal more and more to us the need for restoration of discipleship and spiritual growth within the home.
Our Father's Legacy Ministries exists to partner with parents, families and the local church; to assist in restoring discipleship, spiritual growth and family worship to the home. We endeavor, through equipping encouragement and empowerment to provide tools, resources, training and instruction to parents on how they can become intentional about discipling their children.
Our father's Legacy provides coaching and mentoring one-on-one discipleship of parents, seminars and teaching in the local church and supporting tools and resources to make this vision possible within the home.

Meet the Team
Carl & Liela
Carl & Liela
Carl and Liela share a heart to integrate discipleship back into the home. Together they desire to equip and empower Parents, Families and the church to live out Kingdom life at home, in their communities and within the body of Christ.
Carl has served in Pastoral ministry since 1991, in staff roles such as Pastor of Family Ministries, Pastor of children and youth, Associate Pastor and Senior Pastor. He attended Trinity Bible College and Theological Seminary with emphasis in Pastoral Ministry. Liela has served alongside Carl in roles as Children’s ministry director, church secretary, and women’s ministry director. Liela holds an AA in Elementary Education from Metropolitan Community College.
Pastor Carl and Liela have been married for 25 years. They have six children; Robbie (25), Steven (22), Josiah (18), Rebekah (13), Tabitha (12), and Gideon (10) as well as numerous spiritual sons and daughters whom God has put in their lives. They both have a heart for the orphan and will continue to foster/adopt from the foster care system as the Lord leads and opens doors. They have homeschooled all of their biological children since birth.
