In Matthew chapter 28 Jesus gives the church clear instruction to make disciples of all Nations. The interesting part of that passage of scripture is that Jesus doesn't give methods. He doesn't say do this to disciple All Nations in fact scripture doesn't give us anywhere a method for how we're supposed to accomplish Matthew chapter 28, except... all throughout scripture there is a resounding call for parents to take responsibility for the discipleship and spiritual growth of their children.
In fact, it's not an Old Covenant or a New Covenant principal; it's both Covenants, it is the heartbeat of the Father. Throughout scripture both the Old Testament and the New Testament parents are called to take responsibility; to take ownership of the discipleship and the spiritual growth of their children. Parents are responsible for the Salvation of their children, Society will not stand before God, the church will not stand before God, Parents will stand before God for how they raised and how they discipled their children.
This is where revival starts, in the home. This is how we fulfill the great commission; Us, Our Children, the World. This is the Fathers heart for your family.
How do we accomplish this? In today's busyness and disconnected society, how can parents really become disciplers in their homes? Join us on this journey into making your homes and families a place of God's presence.
